AERODROME INDIA 2008
Venue: Pragati Maidan
New Delhi , Delhi, India
Date: 10 - 12 April 2008
In line with the established principles of Aerodrome India, we have decided to organise this exclusive event based on the recommendations of the key industry groups and decision-makers who matter in the Indian airport/aviation sector.
To begin with, as you might already be aware, both Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL), our Chief Sponsors of Aerodrome India 2005 and Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GMR HIAL), our Chief Sponsors of Aerodrome India 2006 have announced dates for the opening of their respective airports.
As airport/aviation business facilitators, we have been in constant touch with both these important airport owners and are also following them closely so that Aerodrome India 2008 would not only facilitate these airports but also give additional advantage for our esteemed exhibitors -- a unique opportunity to showcase their products/services to these new airports at the right time.
Besides, Airports Authority of India, the organisation that controls over 120 airports in India, is also of the opinion that scheduling Aerodrome India during April 2008 would facilitate the ongoing upgradation/modernisation of other airports. Hence, after careful consideration and taking the industry's advice, we have scheduled Aerodrome India 2008 between April 10-12, 2008.
If you may recall, Aerodrome India has grown from strength to strength, thanks to the unflinching support and cooperation from you and the industry. The second edition held in December 2006 attracted as many as 119 exhibitors from 19 countries and over 2500 trade visitors and delegates, as a result of which, the entire industry expressed deep satisfaction over the outcome of the event.
It could also be noted that, the industry confirmed our belief that Aerodrome India 2006 was by far the biggest and the most successful event with larger number of key trade visitors in the airport sector. The participation of Shri. Praful Patel, Hon'ble Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India, Dr. K. Vijay Mallya, Chairman, Kingfisher Airlines and Dr. K. Ramlingam, Chairman, Airports Authority of India among Mr. Alexander ter Kuile, Secretary General, CANSO, Dr. Robert. J. Aaronson, Director General, ACI and Mr. Arun.K Rao, Director ICAO and many other dignitaries highlights the significance the Authorities and key decision-makers attach to this event.
