The Event
A catalyst for green collaboration
Accelerating Green is a sustainability series organised by IN Diplomacy, supported by the Diplomatic & Consular Corps (DCC) Singapore, and sponsored by Olam International. Its inaugural virtual conference on 29 July 2021 brought together heads of mission and private sector leaders to share where sustainability can be integrated within supply chain and economic activities.
In her welcome, Sun Media founder and IN Diplomacy Editor-in-Chief Ms Nomita Dhar framed the series as a platform for conversation and collaboration between countries, corporations, and communities. The conference was officially launched by H.E. George Tumur, Dean of the DCC and Ambassador of Mongolia.
Across three panels, ambassadors and chief sustainability officers set out national strategies and commercial practice, from green hydrogen and renewable energy to circular food systems and resilient cities.
