Sun Media Editor-in-Chief Ms Nomita Dhar paid a courtesy call on H.E. Medardo G. Macaraig, Ambassador of the Philippines to Singapore, to launch an expanded year of Philippines-focused coverage. Ambassador Macaraig presented his book Making a Mark in the Little Red Dot, marking the start of deeper collaboration on diplomatic and regional affairs reporting.

A landmark gathering of women leaders, diplomats and changemakers from around the world convened in Singapore for the G100 Diplomatic Meetings. Sun Media’s CEO and Editor-in-Chief Ms Nomita Dhar was honoured with the Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Media, recognising her leadership in advancing global dialogue through publishing.

Sun Media launched the India and Singapore @60 Coffee Table Book, celebrating six decades of bilateral relations between the two nations. The launch was jointly officiated by H.E. Dr Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore, and Mr Lennon Tan, President of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, with the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in attendance alongside leaders from RSIS, ISAS, Enterprise Singapore, Invest India, SICCI, SMF, CII, FICCI and many more.

At the SG60 Fireside Chat and Gala Dinner, the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation jointly commemorated six decades of enterprise-driven nation-building. The evening, graced by Guest of Honour Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of Singapore, featured the launch of Unity in Diversity, Strength in Business, published by Sun Media.

The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Singapore presented Ms Nomita Dhar with an Award of Appreciation for Sun Media’s valued support of the Kingdom’s 95th National Day celebrations and its ongoing partnership in promoting Saudi Arabia’s culture, achievements and bilateral relations with Singapore.

Sun Media partnered with the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore as the editorial voice for a year-long programme commemorating 60 years of Thailand and Singapore diplomatic relations. The collaboration was confirmed in a meeting between Ms Nomita Dhar and Thailand Ambassador H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, opening a year of cultural showcases, economic dialogues and high-level engagements.

Sun Media joined the diplomatic community at the Grand Hyatt Singapore for the official Reception hosted by H.E. Dato’ Indera Dr. Azfar bin Mohamad Mustafar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore. The evening brought together the Malaysian community, diplomats and prominent figures to celebrate two of Malaysia’s most significant national milestones.

Sun Media covered the launch of Singapore’s Orchid Diplomacy by Mr Koh Buck Song, officiated by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister. The book celebrates one of Singapore’s most distinctive diplomatic traditions and was attended by senior diplomats from across the international community.
